Compass Web StoreFront and on-premise SiteBuilder Support Ends March 31st, 2012

Attention Compass Web StoreFront customers and on-premise SiteBuilder customers – Standard Support for legacy on-premise web technologies ends March 31st, 2012.

What does this mean to you?

You may not be able to adequately resolve any support or compatibility issues that may arise because you are using outdated software. It is our policy to enhance our software, add-on products and technical support services for the latest releases so we can provide the best possible service. Enhancements will no longer be performed to your version. Maintenance will be handled on a case-by-case basis and bug fixes are not to be expected.

If you have a current Support Plan with Essent it will continue to be honored, but Essent may not be able to adequately resolve any support or compatibility issues that may arise.

Support will still be provided. Should you need assistance, support will be based on a pay-per-call basis charged at our current hourly rate for technical support.

What you can do about it?

Customers are encouraged to migrate to SiteBuilder Pro. Do not continue to rely on unsupported versions. Upgrading now will give you continued access to support, product updates, and valuable add-on products and services which may be important to your business. It will also bring you new enhancements and features that have been added since your version was released.
