The automatic accounting functionality of the Essent Business Management System is now available in the latest release of the EssentOne web-based commerce cloud.

As of January 2017, companies can now automatically run sophisticated accounting processes, like job costing, simply as a side-effect of performing daily business activities.

"Automatic Accounting in EssentOne breaks down the barrier between accounting and operations for the most comprehensive view of business and the simplest way to do accounting – automatically."

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General accounting functionality are integrated within EssentOne so that accounting becomes an automatic side-effect of doing business. As orders are processed, postings are automatically made to Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and the General Ledger to provide a complete, accurate, real-time picture of the business at any time.

"Automatic Accounting in EssentOne breaks down the barrier between accounting and operations for the most comprehensive view of business and the simplest way to do accounting – automatically. There is no need to re-key information, no need to manually move information from one system to the next. You run your business and EssentOne handles the accounting,” Essent President & CEO Eric Alessi said.

The solution is available anywhere with an internet connection and a modern web browser. EssentOne Accounting is powered by the mature, proven Essent Commerce Cloud that annually process more than 12 million transactions worth more than $3 billion.

With the addition of Automatic Accounting, EssentOne Standard Edition is now feature-complete. Customer Relationship Management, Order Management, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Accounting are all available within EssentOne via the web. The EssentOne Enterprise Edition will be feature-complete later in 2017 with the addition of the Product Information Manager, Inventory Control and Fulfillment — continuing the legacy of the One and Only Fully-Integrated Business Management System for the promotional products industry.
