Add and Edit Customer Information

If you are creating a new customer and you've entered the customer name in the account number, or if you're updating a customer record, you'll come to the sales area, customer record info tab to update basic information about the customer. Here you can add a logo for your customer. This logo does not print on any customer facing documentation. However, it is helpful for finding your customer within the system. Below that you can enter a mailing address and basic contact information for your customer. The primary buyer is a contact at your customer's organization that is the primary buyer for that customer. This field is optional. This sales Rep, project manager and service Rep are all people at your organization that are assigned to this customer. Only. The sales Rep field is required on the customer record. This sales Rep will be the default sales Rep on each new quote and sales order for this customer. However, they can be changed on those quotes and sales orders. At the bottom of the info tab you can assign information to this customer, such as a market Anna source for this customer. Most of these fields are for informational purposes only. However, the customer class is an important field because you can optionally very the price of your product's based on the customer's class and this is where you will come to assign that customer class.
