Essent Corporation Receives Benjamin Franklin Award for Direct Marketing Excellence

EASTON, Pa., June 17, 2004 — The Philadelphia Direct Marketing Association (PDMA) has awarded Essent Corporation the Benjamin Franklin Award for Direct Marketing Excellence. A proud Philadelphia tradition for more than 25 years, the Award is a prestigious honor that has been presented to Microsoft, VISA, and Highmark Blue Cross.

Essent entered a three-dimensional direct mail piece that introduced its flagship Business Management System to the promotional products industry. A panel of direct marketing professionals from the Direct Marketing Association of Washington judged hundreds of submissions, and Essent received the top score in Dimensional Business-To-Business.

“Every marketing piece that Essent develops is results driven,” says Marketing Coordinator Jessica Rute. “Not only did we get the desired results — qualified leads, industry-wide buzz and sales growth — we received a highly-prestigious award. It’s really a good feeling to be recognized for our hard work.”

The Benjamin Franklin competition is open to marketers in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and Delaware. The program serves as a forum for education, peer recognition and networking.
